CARE and Diageo
Over half of Zambia’s population don’t have access to clean water. Diageo has committed to help change this for over 300,000 people in Zambia.

CARE works with the European Union to secure funds for projects like this water project in Zambia.
However, to guarantee the donation CARE needs to raise £1,000 from its supporters for every £3,000 granted by the EU.
By providing shower blocks, laundry facilities, toilets, latrines and drainage systems Diageo’s donation will mean that 300,000 people in Zambia will have access to clean water.
Without Diageo’s support, the full scope of this project would not be realised.
