Trusts and CARE International UK

CARE relies on the support of charitable trusts and foundations which share our vision of a future where all people can live in dignity and security.

There are distinct benefits for charitable trusts or foundations who work with us. These include:

  • A group of women in Kordofan digging a mini water reservoir
The Isle of Man Government Overseas Aid Committee gave CARE a grant of £21,483 for people affected by drought in Kordofan, Sudan. CARE is building a large reservoir to capture the limited annual rains and the grant is also paying for 20 women’s groups, such as the one pictured, to dig mini reservoirs to irrigate communal vegetable gardens.
