Vanessa Rubin

Vanessa's work focuses on programming and policy responses to chronic vulnerability and food security, particularly in the Sahel region of Africa. Before working for CARE, Vanessa worked for a local charity in Burkina Faso looking at infant nutrition. She has also worked with women’s groups in India on rural livelihood issues. She has a masters degree in gender, culture and politics from Birkbeck College, University of London.
