What are the issues?

In Africa, more than 120 million people are fighting for survival. The situation is so bad that, before the end of today, thousands will die. Yet only when a crisis reaches its most critical point will governments and the media step in. CARE international believe this is too little, too late.

It is only by implementing long-term projects NOW that we can prevent another emergency or help people prepare for the next natural disaster.
