David Arnold visits a CARE project in Rwanda.David Arnold visits a CARE project in Rwanda.David Arnold, one of the UK’s most successful composers, is an ambassador for CARE International.

David is creating Concert for CARE 2010 which will feature some of the most successful film composers in the world. It promises to be one of the major events of the year in the film music calendar.

Announcing the line up David Arnold said: “Having witnessed firsthand the amazing work that Care International is doing around the world, where there is so much need, I am always trying to find new ways of raising awareness and money for them. It’s going to be a unique evening with wonderful music as we present some of the greatest film music and movie songs ever written.”

Watch David speak about the concert and why he supports CARE:

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will play music from popular contemporary films, conducted by the composers themselves or the house maestro, Robert Ziegler. Various film songs will be performed by major artists backed by a full symphony orchestra.
