David Arnold, one of the UK’s most successful composers and an ambassador for CARE International, is organising two very exciting events all in aid of CARE.
Concert for CARE 2010 at the Royal Albert Hall on October 18th will feature some of the most successful film composers in the world. It promises to be one of the major events of the year in the film music calendar. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will play music from popular contemporary films, conducted by the composers themselves or the house maestro, Robert Ziegler.

On Sunday October 17th at the Empire, Leicester Square, a special screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic, Psycho, will be take place with proceeds going to CARE. This screening is a rare opportunity to experience Psycho on one of the biggest and best screens in the country – and raise money for CARE International.
Many of the composers appearing in the Concert for CARE will be present at the Empire and will take part in a unique mega-Q&A after the screening, discussing the film’s score and looking back on film music in the last 50 years.
