You took action - your MPs listened

On International Women’s Day, hundreds of CARE campaigners sent emails and postcards to their MPs, urging them to take action for women living in conflict.

The interactive map below shows the MPs, according to constituency, who received communication from our supporters.

Thank you to all our campaigners who took action.

The UK government has committed on paper to protecting women in conflict from violence, and promoting their vital role in building peace, through the launch of its National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security. Now we need to see that plan turned into action – women in conflict can’t wait.

Getting the issues on the agenda of your MP is an important way to do this, they have the power to hold the Foreign Secretary to account on the government’s promises. Make sure you sign up to the CARE Action Network to be the first to know when action is needed, and how you can make a difference.
