Video: Building resilience in Indonesia

“Resilience is the capacity of the individual to survive shocks.” Francois Grunewald, URD Director.

The RESILIENCE project brings climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and poverty reduction into one – they all aim at making communities more resilient.

Learn how we are working with community members to help them better adapt to a changing climate, lower disaster risk, and rise and stay out of poverty.

The project started in 2010 in Indonesia, Bolivia and Ethiopia, working closely with local partners, local authorities and private sector.

The RESILIENCE project receives support from the European Commission.

This clip is part of a larger film to be released later in the year.
