In the last year Somalia has often been in the news here in the UK. CARE International works in Somaliland and Puntland in northern Somalia, with a focus on long term relief from drought and increasing access to education, especially for girls.
This slideshow highlights some of the projects we have been involved in in the region, such as cash for work, teacher training and the building of latrines. As well as showing something of the daily life of those who have been touched by CARE's work.
