Dr Helen Pankhurst, CARE International UK’s campaign ambassador, joined BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour on Friday 12th October 2012 to discuss women’s rights globally and in the UK.

Dr. Helen Pankhurst is the great-granddaughter of Emmeline Pankhurst and granddaughter of Sylvia Pankhurst, leaders in the suffragette movement. She has worked as Voices Against Violence Campaign Ambassador for CARE International UK, and is a senior Technical Advisor for CARE USA’s Water Team.
