David Arnold visits a CARE project in Rwanda.
David Arnold is one of Britain’s most popular and successful film and television composers.
He is perhaps best known as being the resident James Bond composer having taken over the mantle from John Barry.
David Arnold is one of Britain’s most popular and successful film and television composers and an Ambassador for CARE.
He has now written the scores for Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day and Casino Royale and has worked with Chris Cornell, Garbage and Kd Lang.
David has also scored a large number of other films including Stargate (1994), The Stepford Wives (2004), Zoolander (2001), Shaft (2000), Stargate (1994), Independence Day (1996), for which he received a Grammy award and Hot Fuzz (2007) to name but a few.
Away from the world of films, David is a successful record producer and song writer, and has worked with some of the music industry’s most famous names including Pulp, Chrissie Hynde, Natasha Bedingfield and George Michael.
In October 2007 he performed at the BBC Electric Proms with the Kaiser Chiefs.
David became a CARE Ambassador in 2007 and visited Rwanda in early 2009.
