Known for her business success and her diverse portfolio of investments, Deborah lives in Somerset with her husband Paul, Friday the cat, two dogs, five horses, eleven chickens and four ducks. Deborah is a born entrepreneur and is always on the lookout for business opportunities to which she can add value or which hold a particular interest to her.

Deborah travelled to Cambodia in March 2011 to see first hand how lendwithcare can help people work their way out of poverty. There, Deborah saw how the whole lendwithcare process works, and spent many hours meeting entrepreneurs who were using their micro loans to start or expand their small business.

Deborah said of Lendwithcare, "I really liked the idea of lendwithcare. I love this idea of putting together people who have money, and want to see what their money is doing, with people who need their money. I think that's a magical combination. You get your money back, and that's good because it means the project has been successful. But really, I think the success can be measured by the change it's left behind."
