Jackie and Laurence walk amidst the devastation caused by Cyclone Sidr
Jackie and Laurence are married with two daughters.
The family recently appeared in To the Manor Bowen, a programme shown on the Living Channel, documenting the change in their lives in moving from London to the countryside.
Laurence is an interior designer, and television and radio personality. His TV career began with his appearance on BBC's Changing Rooms.
Since then his many broadcast credits include presenting BBC One's Holiday programme and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition on BBC Two, and sitting on the judges' panel in ITV1's Popstar to Operastar. He has produced publications including Decorating with Laurence, Published by Quadrille.
Jackie is a regular on daytime TV shows as the resident wedding expert and is a contributor to various wedding publications. She wrote Debrett's Wedding Guide in 1993, reprinted in 1994 and 1999. She runs Llewelyn-Bowen Limited, and the many commercial ventures she and Laurence are involved with.
Laurence and Jackie have visited some of CARE International's vital projects to help the survivors of Cyclone Sidr, which devastated several regions in Bangladesh in November 2007.
