Stacey Dooley first shot to fame after her involvement in BBC Three series Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts. Working on the show, she lived and work alongside people in the Indian fashion industry making clothes for the UK High Street, coming face to face with child labour. What she saw there changed her life forever.

She has since presented several series on BBC Three investigating issues including child labour in the garment industry in Nepal, child soldiers in Democratic Republic of Congo and the effects of tourism in Kenya.

She travelled to Philippines in August 2011 and met our partner, microfinance provider SEEDFinance and some lendwithcare.org entrepreneurs.

Speaking about her ambassador role, Stacey Dooley said: "The first thing I thought when I heard about lendwithcare.org was what a simple idea that could also be very effective. I think it's a great initiative and I'm made up that I was asked to help support it. I like that it's not a hand out, because these people aren't shy of work, in fact they're desperate to work. So it's not giving, it's just lending for a bit to help them out."
