CARE International UK Strategic Plan Refresh 2011. © CARECARE International UK’s Strategic Plan 2008-13 addresses how we can create the most value and impact on poverty as part of CARE globally.

This refresh of the strategy was conducted in 2011 (midway through the plan) to reflect on progress, apply learning and update accordingly.

As CARE International UK, our primary focus remains in conflict and peace building, governance, private sector and emergency shelter and reconstruction.

We will also continue to contribute to work on the key areas of climate change adaptation, food security, maternal and reproductive health, economic development, water and sanitation, education and HIV/AIDS.

Across our work we are committed to gender sensitivity, with a particular focus on women and girls.
