What is #March4Women?
CARE International’s #March4Women is a global movement for gender equality: it’s for anyone and everyone who wants to see a more equal world. Everyone is welcome.
This year #March4Women celebrated the power and passion of women and girls who are on the frontline of responding to climate change.

This year #March4Women focused on climate justice and gender justice. Watch our video to find out why climate change is a feminist issue:
Around the world, women and girls are hardest hit by the impacts of the climate emergency. They must be a central part of the response. We cannot overcome the unprecedented challenges facing humanity with half of the population left on the sidelines.
We are calling on all governments – including the UK government – to make climate justice and gender justice happen:
1, A rapid shift to net zero emissions
2, Women and youth front and centre of national climate plans
3, More funding for climate responses around the world
4, Specific funding for women’s groups, feminist organisations and local women leaders
