We aim to deliver lasting change for the people and communities we work with. To achieve this, we are committed to being open about what we do, so our donors and supporters can trust us to spend their money wisely, and the people, communities and partners we work with can help make our shared work as effective as possible.
We publish a wide range of information about our organisation on our website. Information about our finances and governance can be found in our annual report. Our core policies and procedures are available to download. If you can’t find what you are looking for please take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions or get in touch.
We are committed to meeting international standards of quality and accountability. CARE International is a signatory to internationally accepted humanitarian standards and codes of conduct. Find out more on the CARE global website.
We encourage anyone who has concerns about misconduct by our staff or relating to our programmes to report this to us so that we can take immediate action. CARE International has a dedicated hotline – CARE line – for receiving reports of wrongful conduct.
It is supported in over 100 languages and is available online or via phone. Reporting can be done anonymously if preferred.
