CARE International UK wants to express its sadness at news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Chief Executive Officer at CARE International UK, Eamon Cassidy said:
“We are deeply saddened at the news of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, and we send our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family.
"It has long been a source of pride at CARE that the Queen recognised the value of our work.
"In 1947, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth described CARE’s work as “a ray of sunshine” for those in need. We are extremely proud that our work around the world continues to bring hope in difficult contexts – and no more than at this time in Pakistan and East Africa.
"We wish the Royal Family peace at this difficult time.”
